At the Redwood High School Varsity Baseball Senior Night, a truly inspiring moment unfolded as junior Tyler Stark took the mound to throw out the first pitch. Born with a physical disability, Tyler had faces challenges in participating in sports like baseball. However, with the support of his fellow Redwood students from the Engineering program, he was able to overcome this obstacle. The innovative and dedicated students designed a custom prosthetic hand specifically for Tyler, enabling him to throw a baseball.

As Tyler threw the first pitch, the crowd cheered on, recognizing the remarkable display of perseverance, teamwork, and ingenuity. Tyler’s determination, combined with the creative talents of the Engineering students, demonstrated the incredible spirit of the Redwood High School community.
