Many students on campus get recognized for their skills, talents, and hobbies. Some go so far as being considered a “celebrity” on campus.
Kylen Gray 22’ is a singer songwriter whose music is becoming very popular both on and off campus. Being a creator of the arts makes him a perfect fit for the celebrity role.
As a music artist he has a particular taste in music. Some artists he listens to are Dominic Fike, Rex Orange County, Remi Wolf, and Lizzy McAlpine.
He says being considered a Redwood influencer “boosts his confidence.”
Another one of Redwood’s superstars is Makayla Bullock 24’. Bullock is a part of Redwood’s Dance Force team.
Bullock says on her day off she likes to get some extra sleep or go out to exercise.
A celebrity in the ESports world is Preston Kearnan 22’ who is a very skilled gamer.
Video games are very popular within this community putting him in one of the top celebrity categories.
Kearnan says his favorite movie is Spy Kids 2 because “it’s been in (his) life for a long time and is very influential to (him)”
Another big name at Redwood is Luke Crawford 22’. He is a 4 year ag mechanics student and is also on the Redwood Varsity baseball team.
Being considered a celebrity also means having your eyes on others. Crawford says his celebrity crush is himself.
He says it “feels immaculate” to be considered a Redwood influencer.
With these celebrities on campus and many more, it’s safe to say that Redwood has a lot of role models that are recognized and many students get recognized for the amazing things they can do.

Imagine spending your days talking about ideas that you love with people you genuinely care about. Not bad, that. I advise some journalists and teach some literature at Redwood High School in Visalia, Ca.
