Earlier today, an unfinished draft of a story concerning the ACE Academy of Engineering was inadvertently published on The Gigantea website. The story had not yet completed our normal editorial process and was removed when we became aware of the error.
The Gigantea is a student-run newspaper produced as part of Redwood High School’s journalism program. Our students are learning the work of reporting, editing and publishing journalism, and occasionally that means learning from mistakes in the process. This was one of those occasions.
We have reviewed what happened and are making changes to our publishing workflow to help prevent a similar error. We appreciate the understanding of our readers and the Redwood community.
