Redwood Boys Water Polo takes a close loss against Clovis with a score of 7-8 which makes Redwood’s Water Polo record at 6-4 currently.

Redwood Water Polo is going to be going against El Diamante on Tuesday September 17th with El Diamante having a current record of 10-4.  It is going to be an away conference game at El Diamonte’s school campus.

The Redwood Boys Water Polo team has been going through a mix of wins and losses through the Water Polo season so if we come up with a win against El Diamante it would be a huge win for us and help our record progress throughout the rest of the season.

Redwood currently has an away record of 2-2, and got 1 home game win and no losses at home.  This will currently be the first league game that we will have of the year so if we take a win in, we will currently have the lead of the East Yosemite League with a record of 1-0.

The Redwood Varsity Men’s Water Polo Captain Joseph Ross spoke on how they are having to improve from last game in order to win against El Diamante next week “We realized we needed to work on conditioning, we have been doing 3 times the swim sets than what we have normally been doing.”

He also spoke on what the whole team could have been better on in order to keep on winning their upcoming games ahead “We could have communicated a little bit better… When we get tired we kind of stop communicating so we can work on that”

The team is currently working on communication and conditioning in order to bear El diamante next Tuesday and win more games coming up ahead and keep on having a winning record.
