Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the newer Marvel movies that came out on December 17- it has become one of the greatest movie of its sort, better than the other Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland.
Spider-Man: No Way Home gained its popularity than the other Spider-Man movies because the two actors, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, return their roles as Spider-Man and the villains from all the other Spider-Man movies and were voiced by their original actors, too.
Donya Hassanshahi, class of ’25, said, “I think the other ones were made to like, build up to this film, so it was really cool to see everything being cooperated together and I feel like if we didn’t have the other movies like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, the movie wouldn’t be bad as it was.”
Micah Stipech, class of ’23 said, “Spider-Man is my favorite character because he’s just a relatable guy and he’s not just struggling with supervillains- he’s struggling with high school; it’s pretty hilarious and it’s also relatable.”
After watching Spider-Man: No Way Home, one of the biggest debates going on is: “which actor plays the best Spider-Man?”
Alysa Betiong, class of ’22, said, “Tobey Maguire, of course.”
Betiong says how Tobey Maguire is her favorite because of how he is the original Spider-Man. She does like the movies, but the original Spider-Man movies just felt different.
During the movie, people were shocked about the original villains and the actors returning to their roles and were also shocked when seeing Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield coming out of the portals.
Alberto Nino, class of ’25 said, “I felt excited when I saw the movie the first time in theaters.”
