During the second week of February, all freshmen, sophomore, and junior students are meeting with their counselors to pick out classes for next year. Students are going around trying to figure out what classes they’re going to take. What is more important is this new transition of students going into a new grade?
Taylor Langford, ’25 is going to be a sophomore next year. “I’m super excited and looking forward to it,” Langford says.
Langford also talks about how, “as April starts to come around the corner, it is getting a little more stressful.” She brings light on how her counselor is a big help and is making her more prepared for the new school year.
Carly Jensen, ’24 feels excited to be picking classes for next year. “I’m taking some new electives that I haven’t been in and am excited to see how they go,” she says.
Jensen will be a junior next year. She brings up how in the beginning, it felt a little intimidating, but now it will be a new experience.
She is excited to take different classes next year and knows that, “it’ll be a fun year.”
Natalie McDonnell, ’23 is excited to have an easy schedule next year. She brings up how she is, “kind of stressed that [she] won’t get the classes [she] wants, but [she] knows everything will work out.”
Next year, McDonnell will be a senior. She brings up how, “Senior year seems intimidating.”
She adds, “I honestly still feel like a freshman.”
With the new school year coming around, Rangers feel prepared and are excited for the new classes they are going to take and excited to make new memories.
