On September 11th, 2024 Ranger students Gianna Saenz, ’25, and Juan Hernandez, ’25, earned $1,000 for their hard work at the Visalia Toyota summer internship. Through Don Groppetti, they both were able to receive their money that they worked very hard for.

Both Saenz and Hernandez plan on using their earned money for schooling in the future. The Don Groppetti Automotive internship both gave them a hard working experience that is going to help them and their careers while also financially benefiting them.

What made this summer internship worth it for Saenz was “all the people I got to work with and learning a lot of things I need to know.”

Both of the students are grateful that they got to experience the work life and get a jump start to their careers.

Hernandez says, “I want to go to Reedley college and I think I worked hard for it.”

The internship created great benefits for the students as they now have experience in the field and can put their hardwork towards something useful.

Saenz says, “It feels really rewarding, I know my parents are very proud of me and I also get to use this money for school.”

Their teacher, Mr. Cox, asked these students to take the internship offer. Without knowing how much they were going to earn, they put in the work all summer and earned their money.

Hernandez says he “knows he is ready for college and he knows his stuff in automotive.”

Both Saenz’s and Hernandez’s hard work not only over this internship, but also their dedication to auto at Redwood has paid off tremendously. This is only the start to their future in automotive.
