Redwood students share their thoughts and feelings about the recent football game that took place on August 19, 2022, in the Mineral King Bowl.
Sienna Luna ‘26, says, “It was really good, …the whole crowd was super fun to be with, the student section was a lot of fun.”
When asked about finding seats Luna says, “It was really hard, we had to walk around a whole bunch actually to find a seat in the student section.”
Coming back from Summer vacation the excitement of the upcoming football season is missed.
Beatrice Sanjaya ‘24, says, “It was really fun, and it was really great to be back, especially after last year, it feels like it’s been a long time.”
Since the Redwood football team did lose to the Centennial football team, Sanjaya says, “It was kind of upsetting, …there was just like at a point in the game when we thought we could have won it but we didn’t, so it was just kind of disappointing.”
Kylenna Moumdijan ‘25 has a different view. She says, “It was just disappointing like I think we had our hopes up, especially since it was the first game, but It’s not like we haven’t lost a game before.”
Moumdjian says, “I look forward to going to more games because they’re just a good way of connecting with other friends and meeting new people and hopefully we’ll win one.”
