Deciding what movie to see can always be a difficult decision however, students here at Redwood have some great recommendations that may save you time.

One of the students here at redwood Layla Anderson ‘25 said  “Since October is coming up close I think students or teachers here at Redwood should watch something spooky like Jeepers Creepers. I chose this movie for people to watch because it’s funny and has that scary feeling and I think some kids here are into scary movies.”

Jordan Davis ’25 said “A movie I would recommend for students and staff is Wall-e. I recommend this movie because people need to learn how to take care of the environment because if we don’t the planet is going to end up dry and dead.”

Mr. Cain, RHS English and AVID teacher, said “ Napoleon Dynamite, I love this movie for so many reasons. The scrip pops, it is just wonderfully written with a bucket load of quotable lines.  “Give me some of your tots, Napolean”  being just one.  Also, great character development.  Pedro is great and Napolean’s talent as a dancer to help Pedro get elected is brilliant. I have lots of other reasons to.  There is a llama named Tina and Kips relationship with LaFonda.  So many great scenes.”

Mr. Rojas, an RHS teacher, did not mention a specific movie but did recommend sci-fi ” It depends what their feeling honestly because I’m into sci-fi, I really enjoy being in the edge of what technology can do now and what it can do in the future. I think more people are interested in sci-fi now because everyone is now wanting the best technology for our phones and computers and especially all of the VR coming out.”
