Our Redwood Varsity Dance Force team welcomed three talented new dancers. All three freshman members of the 2026-2027 Varsity Dance Force have been happy bringing their energy, talent, and passion to the team.
Scarlett Flores, ’30, said, “Dance Force has been practicing 6 hours a week for our cowhide performance.”

This year, the Dance Force will be performing during the halftime show with the cheer squad.
Flores also said, “I’m excited for the crowd to see our Taylor’s Hot Dog performance.”

Flores described this year’s dance team as consistent, and flourishing in friendships.
Kamryn Wiggs, ’30, said, “My favorite part of being on Dance Force during Cowhide Week would be the preparation for Taylor’s Hot Dogs.”
Wiggs said, “There’s more pressure this week since it is Cowhide and it’s the big final game of the year, and we’re kind of on a time crunch because we have a lot on our plate.”

Amelia Vorst, ’30 said, “Dance Force practices 7 hours a week for our new dances for Cowhide.”
She said, “There is more pressure because I feel like our dance has to be really good cause a lot of people go to Cowhide, and it’s kind of a lot.’’
“If I could describe this year’s dance force team in three words, they would be entertaining, friendships, and just having fun.”
Overall, this year’s Dance Force team is working hard and getting involved in many events, while bringing the high energy to everything they’re involved in.
