Redwood Rangers were asked for their opinions on the new movie.
Juliet Prosser ‘24 said that she usually enjoys the horror genre and found that this movie contained plenty of jumpscares. Prosser says, “I definitely thought it would be all scary and have a lot of gore to it, but there is more of a creepy storyline.”
Prosser enjoyed the movie’s outcome and expressed that this is definitely a movie she would recommend to others.
Dominic Garcia ‘23 thoroughly enjoyed watching it and said, “I was very scared going to see the movie after all the trailers I had seen. A lot of people were saying they were so scared watching it and it definitely lived up to that.”
Garcia was excited about the film’s horror aspect and expressed that the walk back to his car was very nerve wracking. He overall was delighted with how the movie turned out.
Another student, Hunter Pruitt ‘24 was happy to share his viewing experience. Pruitt says, “My expectations were pretty high because everyone said it was a really good movie, but it was a decent movie.”
Pruitt liked that, “there were moments in the movie that were really scary but there were also moments that weren’t.” And like this, he enjoyed some parts of the film more than others.
“If you like scary movies, you should go watch it,” says Garcia.
