Since the 2022 “senior ditch day” is closer than ever, Redwood seniors plan to celebrate the tradition and enjoy the upcoming day.
From going all the way to many beaches around California, a little trip to Three Rivers, or just staying to hang out with some friends, seniors have expressed that they are excited to be able to come back to a semi-normal senior year.
“Senior ditch day” has been a tradition since the 1930s and it’s celebrated nation-wide. This year, it is going to take place the Friday before Spring Break, April 8.

They both expressed their excitement for a well-deserved break.
Paiten Blankenship, ’22 wants to go to the beach with her friend group.
Vanessa Nino, ’22 says, “I really want to go to the beach, but Three Rivers is always an option.”
