Saulsbury has been playing for Redwood since his freshman year. Since getting pulled to varsity this year he says he notices the difference in the “speed and strength, it’s a lot faster.” But he says, “I feel good about getting moved up.”
With the 67th Cowhide approaching, Saulsbury gets excited about the game. He says, “I’m feeling good about it, I’ve been doing well all season so I’m looking forward to the Cowhide and being able to play.”
Saulsbury lines up at defensive tackle. He has looked forward to this game all season and says, “I have improved by my work ethic and consistency.” With all the working dedication put in he says, “All of that has helped me on the field by being dedicated.”
Since recently getting moved up, Saulsbury has already started for the two games he has played in. Feeling great Saulsbury has realized that being on varsity is, “a lot more competitive than before.”
