Measure C was a bond measure put forth by the College of the Sequoias [COS] to request funding to expand its existing partnership with California State University [CSU], Fresno.
VISALIA, CA- Measure C gives COS the needed funding to open a University Center.
The University Center will include not only Fresno State but other California colleges. This gives students a chance to get a college education while staying home.
COS President Dr. Brent Calvin led the effort. He says, “[COS is] thrilled, [Measure C is] such a huge accomplishment for this region. We believe that this University Center will serve in the two-county area for decades to come.”
Dr. Calvin says the University Center will be open either in the fall of 2026 or the spring of 2027.
