The Preliminary SAT [PSAT] exam will be taken on October 15, 2022, on Sierra Vista at 8:00 am. Students who have registered will need to follow a list of items they will need, and check in before taking their exam.
On Saturday, October 15, 2022, students who registered for the Preliminary SAT [PSAT] exam will take the test on Redwood High School’s Sierra Vista campus at 8:00 am.
Check-in starts at 7:45 am and the test will begin at 8:00 am.
The PSAT will be taken in the Sierra Vista campus in the portables. When students check-in, they will get assigned a room.
If students still need to pick up their student guide, see Mr. Matta in the office.
Below are two lists of what will be needed and what students should not bring.
Bring On Test Day:
- Two #2 sharpened pencils with erasers
- Calculator (not on your phone)
- Know your home address
- Water and snack
- Hoodie/jacket (temperature may fluctuate)
- Mask (optional)
Do NOT Bring On Test Day:
- Electronic devices (including smartwatches)
- Cameras
- Phones
- Scratch paper
- Calculators with sound
- Highlighters or pens
- Reading book-you will not be permitted to read if you finish early
Phones must be turned off and put in backpacks or can be turned in. Backpacks will be placed on the back wall of the test room.
There will be a practice test in the PSAT Student Guide. A complete practice test is included in the guide.
There will be no refunds for not testing.
