On Friday, October 12th 2018, a big game went down at the Mineral King Bowl between Hanford and Redwood. But why is it so important? The reason for the sudden utmost importance is because Redwood is still undefeated in the WYL, and so is Hanford. If Redwood wins, then they would be one game ahead of Hanford, and they will keep the top spot, AND they will remain undefeated. If they lose, however, then they would be one game behind. As you could see, this game is a must win situation. Here’s what some of the boys think:
Q:How good do you think Hanford is this season?
Sam Olson: I think they’re a pretty good team, they have a lot of good players.
Hudson Walker: I think Hanford’s pretty solid, but uh… I think we are a lot better.
Hunter Bryan: I feel like Hanford’s a really good team, and uh…, and, looking at film, they look fundamentally sound, and it’s gonna be a tough game.
Q:What’s the one thing you’re worried about going in?
SO:I’m worried about our… just… our defense being able to stop them, they have two really good running backs, as long as we stop them, we should be good.
HW:Um… I think we just have to work on tackling, and making sure we can hit as hard as we can.
HB:Uh… they have a big running back uh… so it’s definitely gonna be tough to stop them.
Overall, your boys in blue(the Rangers) are really confident about taking them down, and have a good shot at winning this game, and hopefully winning WYL. Overall, in this game, the Rangers should be able to score at least 28 points, which means they can allow at the MOST: 27 points! It’s going to be a thrilling game indeed, so go to the game and support your Rangers, as they are striving to remain undefeated!
