Mr. Avila, FBLA’s advisor, on plans for the year, says, “This year we have big plans led by our officer team and our president Chloe Seals. We’re going to start big at club day, we’re going to have a big booth there. We start off right with community service. We have a conference in November. Open to all members that want to sign up and go.”

Chloe Seals, ‘25, is the president of FBLA. After asking what the plans for the year were, Seals says, “We want to recruit alot of members, increase our membership from previous years. Getting our members excited and involved in competitions and the leadership opportunities within FBLA, I think is our main goal for this year.”

Seals speaks with enthusiasm when talking about what went well last year that she plans on implementing this year.

Seals says, “Last year I think our competition team did a really good job at being able to figure out peoples niches, figure out what they were interested in and what they were focused in, and being able to work around that and place them in different competitive events that they were able to excel in.”

“So I think, not only implementing that, but enhancing and having our older members teach our younger generations so we can continue to grow,” said Seals.

Seals had this to say on things she wants to change this year, she says, “We obviously want to be better, we want to be stronger, and continue to win our competitions and play some sweepstakes.”

Seals speaks on events she would like the student body to be aware of, she says, “Our central section conference in February, that’s kind of our regional conference. As well as our state conference in April, which will be in Anaheim.”

Mr. Avila is looking forward to competing in’s as well.

Mr. Avila says, “We have our competition season next spring where we hope to get a lot of rewards for our kids, also hopefully we can get first place in sweepstakes, and top ten sweepstakes at state like we did last year. Carry on the legacy we’ve had the last couple of years.”
