Homecoming spirit week is this week and you know what that means.
This Wednesday was Monsters Inc day which means you get to wear your pajamas to SCHOOL!
While going around campus, Emma Nicholson ‘22. She was dressed as a monster in pajamas.
Nicholson ‘22 wanted to show not just her school but everyone how school spirit she is and “mix it up with my style”. She says, “I got a lot of compliments on my fit and it made me feel really special.”
Nicholson really showed who much school spirit she has for everyone and said, “people said they really liked my horns and blazer”.
Noah Strada ‘22 definitely showed his school spirit by dressing up as a 23-19 monster from Monsters Inc.
So much creativity went into putting this costume that he made himself. Strada said, “I loved the compliments I got from everyone on how I was different”
Not only was it a unique idea but it showed how much school spirit he has for everyone and how much he enjoys dressing up.
Strada says, “I thought it would be fun to dress up especially with my friends and I love disney so I had too”.
Meghan Tandy class of 2022 was dressed up as Boo from Monsters Inc. She loved that everyone liked her outfit and how creative it was.
Tandy says, “It was very difficult to make the costume out of the materials I had but they were still fun to make”
She loved how creative she could be with expressing herself and being able to show everyone how much she enjoyed dress up day.
Eric Chavez ‘22 was very excited about dressing up as Sully from Monsters Inc. He loved that he and his friends could come together and make the characters from Monsters Inc.
Chavez says, “I made Sully, which was really fun, I also wore some pajama pants to match the monsters vs mornings theme”.
With everyone being involved many people were complimenting each other just about their creativity and how much
they enjoy dressing up.
“My teachers and friends loved how much I was involved with Homecoming week and thought it was cool,” Chavez says.
He loved that homecoming week included a Disney theme because, as he says, “it was in person school and events.”
