Redwood Dance Force shares their future life plans, which include their aspirations for dancing skills in life after high school and hopes for it to become a bigger part of their lives.
Mia Pasquale, ’28, a second year in Dance Force, says, “I wanna hopefully make a college dance team and I would also love to be a backup dancer of some sort.”

Gwyn Miller, ’25, is a graduate from Redwood and was a four-year Dance Force Student who left an impact as a skillful and talented dancer. She is now succeeding and following her dreams, still continuing after ending her chapter in high school, and achieving them by being on the Dance team at Fresno State College.
“I tried my best to be a positive captain that cared about each and every one of my teammates and made sure I made personal connections with everyone on my team, respect and appreciate my coach, and create an environment where everyone could be friends and appreciated what each person had to offer to the team,” says Miller.

Dance Force has emotions all over the place of excitement, challenging and feeling nervous when it comes to anything really, “A really fun part being in Dance Force is hanging out with the girls knowing you are creating memories and moving up to the next level leaving you excited for what the future has to come” says Kaydence Rodriguez, ’28, a second year in Dance Force.
When being in Dance Force comes to an end after your high school years are over, it doesn’t mean that’s where your dancing passion ends. Rodriguez is aiming to continue dance classes afterward, “I really do hope my dancing journey continues on.”
Dance Force can make an impact on your personal self and make your life plans and mindset change.
Miller says, “Dancing in high school has really helped me grow into a leader. I was always more of a follower and reserved, I am now actively pursuing the things that form my experience as a dancer.”
Many people think of Dance Force as a class that just dances and is temporary, but to members of Dance Force, it’s a part of their lives that they have a dedicated passion for and see it as if any other person would see a sport they desire and love.
Rodriguez says, “If I had to rate dance Force 1-10 I would definitely give it a 10 it comes with memories, friendships, and a place in my heart for dancing with a group of girls I absolutely love.”
Miller had something else to lift off her chest after her 4 year experience on the Dance Force team “I’ve been in dance environments where dancers have every skill, they are well trained and disciplined, but to me it’s never as meaningful as when I have a teammate who truly checks in with me, who encourages me, and who makes personal connections with every single person on the team”
