It is that time of year again. CHRISTMAS!!! During this time of year we sit with and cozy blankets, have hot chocolate, and watch Christmas movies to get into the holiday spirt.
There are many classic movies that we watch every year to get in the holiday spirits plus many new movies that came out on Disney +, Netflix, and many different platforms. Here are some classic and new movies to watch to get into the holiday spirit.
1. Elf
One classic movie that everyone loves is Elf. Elf is about a boy who accidentally ends up at the North Pole and is now being taken care by Santa’s Elfs. When he started to grow older, he started to notice how he was not fitting in, so he decided to go to New York and find his real parents. This movie is a really funny and will leave a smile on your face. It is a classic movie and does not disappoint.
2. Home Alone Series
Home Alone is probably one of the most popular classic movie series that everyone loves. All five movies are classics and are a must to watch for the Holidays. In summary, Home Alone is about a kid being at home alone when robbers come to rob the house and he has to save his house. If you haven’t watched any of the Home Alone movies, I would totally recommend watching them.
3. The Christmas Chronicles 2
If you are a big fan of The Christmas Chronicles, then you will love The Christmas Chronicles 2 which just came out of Netflix a few weeks ago. The Christmas Chronicles 2 is about a sister and brother trying to catch Santa Claus on camera this Christmas Eve and go on an unexpected journey. The movie has many happy scenes, but also has some emotional scenes. It is a must watch movie during Christmas.
4. Noelle
Noelle is a great movie to watch if you are in love with movies with a message at the end. Noelle is about a girl Kelly who is trying to spread the Christmas spirit around town, but is wanting to so something important for her brother. The movie has really great humor and have important messages about being kind. It is a totally must watch movie and definitely gets you in the Christmas spirit.
5. How The Grinch Stole Christmas
One of the all time classic movies that everyone watches is How The Grinch Stole Christmas. The movie is about how the Grinch was to ruin people’s Christmas. He decides to sneak in people’s houses during Christmas and decides to ruin them. There are many funny jokes in this movies, and highly enjoyable. It is definitely a Christmas classic and a must watch movie for the holidays.
