Redwood’s dance team has been very quiet since cowhide back in November. Since then Redwoods dance has been working twice as hard on making their next performance perfect.

When talking to Rozenthal Ramos ’24 she says “Right now we are learning and finishing our hip hop and lyrical dance, and also working on our choreography groups that we were put in.”

These girls are still in their preparation stage and are working hard to get their choreography down.

“We are all working on dances. The dance class next to me (intermediate) is woking on a Gwen Stefani mix.” said Alysa Betiong ’22

All different dance classes are working on their own dances in different stages of preparation

Brooklyn Tayo ’25 says that they are “working on their dances for the dance show in April.”

Tayo adds that “We have a lot of exciting things planned for this show; it is definitely something that you should defenitfty go see it”.

There is more to this dance show that you could be able to watch sometime in April.

Cambri Rodriguez ’22

“The dance competition was really fun we were really successful. We won 1st overall in our category, regional champs, and awards for most entertaining, for showing showmanship and spirit.” Cambri Rodriguez ’22 says.

Cambri adds that “In all honesty, I am just glad we are able to do stuff this year after everything that we weren’t able to do because of the pandemic.”

Malayna Neito ’23

Malaya Neito ’23 says that “with Covid and stuff we didn’t really have that much time to compete because everything was shut down, so it was nice to be able to experience all that again”.

Neito adds that, “Dance has been really fun this year; I’m hoping we will be able to have a full season this year.”

These girls did really good at their competition. Come support Redwood dance force at athletic events and dance shows in the future.
