Though Buchanan will be taking a break from coaching, she still has high hopes for the season.
She says, “I feel like the team will be successful in their wins and still feel connected to the sport and the school.”
As Buchanan steps down, Mr. Jenan will be taking over the role as the Girls Tennis Varsity coach.
Buchanan says, “I can’t think of a better person to coach the girls. Coach Jenan has already been a consistent supporter for the team for the past three years, so everyone is already connected to him.”
Buchanan says that Coach Jenan is the ultimate team dad. She says, “He’s always prepared, always positive and always supportive. He is going to do a great job!”
Coach Jenan says he feels a sense of responsibility stepping into this role. He says, “The Lady Rangers Tennis program has a storied history of winning and developing amazing young tennis players.”

Coach Jenan says, “I’m most excited to have the opportunity to work with such a great group of athletes and the potential for growth and success.”

He says, “My plan right now is to rely on clear communication, task prioritization, and energy management.”
Coach Jenan says his goal for this team is to, “foster a team culture of fun, excellence, and a commitment to getting better every day.”
