Varsity Baseball’s First Game of the Season
Redwood men’s baseball played Bakersfield High School, and they overcame the odds and won the game, 10-2. Joey Rico, ’22, says, “I feel like we did very good for our first game. It showed us what we need to work on going forward.” Rico follows up by saying, “I needed to do whatever I can to put the team in the best position to win.”

Boys Soccer Wins First Playoff Game at Mineral King Bowl in over 10 years
Redwood boys soccer played Golden Valley High School, from Bakersfield, CA, and won 2-0 last Friday night. Friday’s game was the first boys soccer playoff game played in the Mineral King Bowl in over 10 years.
