After a year where we saw many highly anticipated films and television shows halt production after the Corona Virus outbreak, 2021 looks to be a year of action packed with thrillers to keep us out of our seats. Here are some of the many films and shows to be on the lookout for.

Marvel Studios:

As they do every year, Marvel Studios does their best to improve from previous years. After the events of Marvel Avengers: Endgame, many fans are excited to see what the future holds in phase four of Marvel Entertainment.

One of the shows fans have been looking forward to is WandaVison, which premiered its first two episodes on January 15th, 2021. The first season will have a total of nine episodes released weekly on Disney+.

Although Marvel has improved their show qualities, their movies are what sets them apart from competitors.

Fans are excited to see old favorites such as Black Widow get a solo movie, as well as comic book favorites, Sang Chi and The Eternals finally get a chance to premiere on the big screen. 

The most anticipated Marvel film would be the third installment in Tom Holland’s Spider Man adaptation. An already well portrayed version of Peter Parker, is speculated to be joined by former Spiderman actors  Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. 

No matter what the future may hold for Marvel, things can only get better.

All American Season 3:

After a jaw dropping season two filled with comedy and tragedy, season three looks to build on the previous two seasons. New episodes will premiere weekly starting January 18th on CW and can be expected to hit Netflix by the Summer.

Outer Banks Season Two:

After one of the most well received first seasons of a Netflix Original, season two faces pressure to maintain the quality of season one. Production for season two began late August 2020 so it can be expected to be announced for the premiere in the coming months.

Godzilla vs Kong:

A fight anticipated for decades will finally be made a reality early 2021. Humanity’s greatest foes, The King of Monsters, Godzilla and The Eighth Wonder of the World, Kong look to not only destroy each other, but all of humanity early 2021.

The Matrix 4:

A movie rumored to be pushed all the way back to as late as May 2022, will make its debut late 2021. The fourth movie of The Matrix franchise looks to remind fans of the greatness of the series.

Mission: Impossible 7:

One of the movies affected by the pandemic had to push the release of the seventh installment of the franchise to 2021.

Space Jam: A New Legacy:

Many basketball fans compare who had the better career between Michael Jordan and Lebron James, now they will be comparing who had the better Space Jam. 

Lebron James looks to make his big screen debut alongside NBA superstars, Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn Nets Point Guard), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers Point Guard), Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors Shooting Guard), and Los Angeles Lakers Power Forward and Lebron’s Teammate, Anthony Davis.

No matter what sort of genre you like, 2021 is sure to keep us entertained all year long.
