Starting off the second semester, Redwood High School is hosting another Club Day for the students who missed out on joining a club during the first semester. Being able to see what the clubs are involved in and the events they hold throughout part of the school year is the object of this event.
With the new freshman class and returning students, they are eager about joining new clubs and getting to know what they have to offer; luckily Redwood offers Club Day where all the clubs around campus set up a booth in the quad and have open arms for anyone who would like to join and anyone who has questions.
Since Club Day is hosted during lunch and most upperclassmen will leave off campus, Redwood’s ASB has food stands come and sell food but this semester is a little different.
For Club Day this semester, ASB will be pre-selling food tickets for Raising Canes, Amigos, Panda Express, Taco Bell, and Jamba Juice. ASB advisor, Mrs. Aston says, “We decided to pre-sale tickets because it is an easy way to provide students with food options while still ensuring we earn enough money to cover the cost of the food.”
Not only does it help them with the costs, but it also helps the caters not have to struggle with money while they are preparing the orders.
Aston adds, “Pre-sale is great because I know exactly how much to order and nothing is wasted and money is not lost. It also helps the businesses because they are guaranteed a specific number of sales.”
This Club Day may be one of the best yet, with delicious foods, new clubs to join, and eager students wanting to join; it seems as if everything will go smoothly and our Rangers will be happy.
As for the foods that will be sold, depending on the ticket bought, the prices will vary but they are all under $10.00 for one single ticket.
Students can purchase these tickets from Monday, January 24 to Tuesday, the 25 at the finance window.
