This new film features a blend of science and technology, villainy, and introduction of new characters.

Redwood Rangers were asked their expectations for the upcoming movie.

A teacher on campus, Mr. Cain, is a very big Marvel fan who said, “What I really love about Marvel and Ant Man is the way that they are able to blend the sciences and emerging technology.”

Mr. Cain also said that he believes the new film will add on to the past Ant Man and the Wasp, and take on a similar energy involving the Quantum Mechanics and villainy that we usually see.

“I would imagine Thanos plays a much bigger part in this,” said Mr. Cain. “…and I imagine a lot more Good vs. Evil and Hero vs. Villain.”

Dominic Garcia ‘23 is not particularly a Marvel fan, but expressed his interest for the coming film. Garcia said, “I’m looking forward to watching this movie because I feel like it will be great but also we will get introduced to some brand new characters which is really exciting.”

Garcia also said “This movie will definitely be better than the first one because it can add on to all of the evil we have seen so far, and just elaborate on it a lot more.”

Israel Llerenas ‘26 also enjoys Marvel movies, and shared his interest in the new film. He said, “I think it will be just a basic marvel movie which is always good.”

Llerenas also said, “It will be better than the first one because the villain is Kang who is a worse version of Thanos.

Llerenas pointed out that this movie starts a new generation for Marvel, and he is excited to see how it will turn out.
