There are many great clubs on campus that you can be apart of. There are lots of opportunities to connect with people who believe the same things as you do.

One of these clubs is known as FCA, or Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Kylea Moshier, ‘20, said she feels that this club is set apart from others because “everyone is so welcoming and everyone has a place in this club.” The club is a way of connection to their fellow club members, and a way of encouragement, to people who need it. She believes the main point of the club is to “learn from believers with more experience”, and hear about what God has done in their lives. Their goal is for everyone to feel welcomed, and for them to be encouraged in their faith.

The Ablaze Catholic Club is run by Alandra Sanchez, ‘20. She feels that her club sets apart from others because students have the ability to grow with the community and to become close with other people. She encourages freshmen to join her club because they do a lot of social and fun events such as walking dogs, going to the SPCA, and eating ice cream. Her main goal for the Ablaze Club is to bring students together by helping others and to connect our society.

A member of the Christians In Action club, Aaron Garcia, ‘20, is a worship leader at the club. This club stands out from others by the fact that they are really involved with the community. They love to go out during lunch and go pray for people. This club allows people to feel comfort knowing that others do care and will pray with them.

Each one of these clubs is very welcoming of every student who is interested in joining a faith-based club. These are just some examples of the amazing things each club is capable of doing.
