There are many different aspects to this game. Some artists release albums just out of the blue, some will make an announcement just days in advance. However, this album has been teased by artist Travis Scott for longer than most could wait, but in the end, it finally arrived. After nearly 4 years in the making, Travis Scott finally dropped the now #1 album on the “Billboard 200”, “Utopia”.

Scott made this album very differently than he did his other albums. When you hit play on Utopia, the first song that comes on is “HYAENA”. The song starts off with no beat and an intro for the song that is different from other Travis Scott songs. After about 15 seconds, the beat arrives. Then you get the hint, that this album will be talked about for a long time.

Moving forward in the album, a song called “MY EYES” starts playing. The beat starts off subtle and slow and it seems very unlike Travis Scott. The beat stays like this until about 2 and a half minutes into the song, there is a beat switch. After hearing Scott sing very slowly, we move into the 2nd half of the song where the beat is now more of Travis Scott’s style. This song was one of Scott’s many amazing beat switches.

As it gets closer to the halfway point in the album, A song by the name of “SIRENS” begins to play. As you get further into the song, it may seem like this song may not be a hit, but approaching the end, you hear a voice saying, “I thought we were going to Utopia?” After that, another voice says, “What makes you say this isn’t Utopia?” Only that voice, can only be recognized as famous artist, Drake. When the song ends, the next song, “MELTDOWN” (Featuring Drake) starts to play. It’s easy to tell that this song is a classic by the numbers as it was the #3 song on the “Billboard Hot 100” list.

Now it is just over halfway through the Album, and now a song called “I KNOW ?” starts to play. This song is a very upbeat but slow song but Scott didn’t fail and excelling the vocals and lyrics of this song. This song is what many would consider the “sleeper” of this album, meaning that this song is very good but doesn’t get a lot of attention. However, this song got the attention it deserved because it is now sitting at 4 million YouTube views and over 370,000 saves on Spotify.

As it starts to approach the end point of this album, a track named “TOPIA TWINS” begins. Just by the name of the song, it gives the hint that you are in for a really good song. This song is many people’s favorite on the whole album. This song features artist “Rob49” and one of the hottest rappers out right now “21 Savage”. They both have good verses in the song along with Travis as he delivered one of the best choruses on the entire album.

One of the last songs on the album is called “TELEKINESIS”. This song has a length of 5 minutes and 44 seconds and not a second of that song disappointed. The song starts with Travis Scott delivering good lyrics as he does throughout the whole album. Then we hear the first feature from Artist “Future”. Future does not disappoint with his verse. As we approach the end of the song Travis Scott sings the Chorus but then we hear another feature. That feature is from “SZA” who is coming off a classic album of her own called “SOS”. SZA’s verse is widely known on this album.

This is not the first time Scott and SZA have collaborated on a song together. Travis Scott has been featured on another 2 of SZA’s songs, those songs being “Love Galore” and “Open Arms”. Those songs are considered by many people as classics, showing that Travis Scott and SZA make a really good duo when it comes to music.

Travis Scott has had a huge impact on the Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B world. His release of UTOPIA doesn’t change a thing. This album is sure to be talked about for a long time. An album that the world waited for and asked for finally got delivered and it did not disappoint. All the teasers, all the trailers, and all of the announcements, the world can finally say that “UTOPIA” is here.
