I had very little expectations of it at first, I just thought it was cool that I got free food but now I kinda want to win but I am also against my really good friends so it is super cool.” He has been coordinating his outfits with his escort, Sierra Moffet, ’19, and is ready for the oncoming week. Hernandez was nominated by Link Crew and plans on having a good time.

Bryan Trejo, ’19

Bryan Trejo, ’19, stated that being nominated for Mr. Ranger “is just surreal, and loves representing Redwood. And if I win it’ll be super cool because I am the first person to make it from drama and I just feel that’s is kind of cool.” He has big plans for the upcoming dress up days. Trejo’s escort is Megan James, ’19, the president of the drama club. “So far the week has been going pretty good. I feel like I have a connection with everyone at Redwood now. The environment is really fun and everyone is having a good time.”

Dyllan Rivera, ’19

Dyllan Rivera, ’19, stated that “when I first found out about making top 5, I was at my track meet super ecstatic! I was screaming and super happy. I’ve been talking about Mr. Ranger since freshman year.” Rivera was nominated by his track team and is super excited for this week. His favorite part so far is the games at lunch and the dress up days. His escort Ruby Luna, ’19, and himself went shopping for all of the dress up days. He is glad he gets the chance to experience this his last year of high school and says that he “mostly just wants to thank all the people who voted for me, it truly means a lot. I’m having the time of my life!”

All of the candidates will be in the talent show this Friday have big plans for their act. So come and have a good time! You do not want to miss this.
