On October 14,this year’s fall choir concert took place in the L.J. Williams Theater. This performance was great! The atmosphere was warm and pleasant, every piece was fascinating and memorable in a special way.
Each chorus was performing three pieces. The Chamber chorus was the first, the men’s chorus was the second, after was performing combined women’s chorus( advanced and beginners together), and the Ranger choir was the last one.
During some songs there were soloists who played instruments,Elijah Stahl ‘23 was playing djembe drum, Ben Lozano ’24 was playing the cello, and Mr. Carrillo’s daughter, Lauren Carrillo ’25 was playing cajon.
The whole audience was delighted and fascinated about the show. Everyone was listening very carefully, in absolute silence.
At the end of the performance, everyone in the audience was able to try to sing with the choir, as before the concert everyone received a sheet with a song. Firstly, Mr. Carrillo asked the audience to do a vocal warm-up and then he worked with different sections and brought them together. Audience was so excited about it and tried its best!
It’s amazing how talented all the members of the choir are! Songs sounded very professional and beautiful!
It was fabulous, you should definitely come to the next concert!
