The 120th World Series game will be played on October 25th, 2024. These games have been held here since 1903. As the game approaches curiosity lingers on who will win the first game.

Ben Flora, ‘26, is a Dodgers fan and he says, “I am glad they are in the World Series and they’re gonna win.” His predictions for the game are, “I think the Dodgers are going to win in 5 games, win three, lose one, and win the next one.”

Daisy Corona, ’27, is also a Dodgers fan and has high hopes for them. She says, “they’re going to win.”

Aiden Navarro, ’26, says, “it’s going to be a battle.”

After hearing from the Dodgers fans about hopes and predictions for the game. Eric Rico, ‘25, has some thoughts coming from the opposing team, the New York Yankees. “It’s one of the best matchups we have seen in about 5-6 years, since like the Dodgers versus Astros World Series.”

Rico’s Prediction on the game has high hopes for the Yankees he says, “I think we will see a good battle between the teams, probably six or seven games. Both teams are pretty equal.”

With the battle of the homeruns, Shohei Ohtani versus Aaron Judge are set to face off as the home run leaders of the regular season, Ohtani with 54 and Judge with 58.

Rico says, “Ohtani is a great hitter, I think he is going to make a big impact because of the way he has been hitting with guys in the scoring position.”

With his enthusiasm about the newest member of the LA team, Rico brags about his favorite baseball team members saying, “Soto’s clutch. We also got Stanton too, and if Judge can turn it on, then our lineup is going to be good.”

And Rico says, “Go Yankees.”
