Winter time is here and that calls for warmer clothes! Students and myself are bundled up and ready to take on the cold weather.
It’s hard to keep fashion in mind when you’re freezing cold while getting ready in the morning. Layering still comes into play, however, much heavier layers. Long sleeve, jackets, and long pants are a students best bet for staying warm at school.
Emma Phillips ’22 layers a heavy and warm puffer jacket on top of a white turtle neck for extra warmth. She combines this with a pair of long jeans and accessorizes with jewelry and a head scarf to pull the look together. Head scarfs are very trendy lately and are a good option for spicing up a winter outfit.
Similar to Phillips, Katie Hornburg ’22 also wears a warm puffer jacket to keep warm. Long jeans are also a popular trend occurring. The muted green of the puffer jacket gives a winter vibe while also providing warmth for the outfit.
Now that students get to layer clothes and not overheat in the process, let’s hope this will be a long winter full of fun fashion trends!
