So many people wonder why the local coffee shop, Dutch Bros always has a long line. Why do people love it so much? Dutch Bros’ lovers love the new drinks they make and how nice the employees are.

“It’s like an addiction. Once you go, you can’t stop going. Their coffee is fantastic and not to mention the staff is always nice and treats you like family,” says a regular customer, Bryan (unknown last name).

Serina (unknown last name), another local customer, loves how nice the employees are, especially when they write with paint on customers’ cars to spread appreciation. Customers must ask employees to do this as they are giving their order. They write phrases such as “Dutch Bros lovers,” “Dutch Marines,” “Dutch Navy,” etc.

“I can say Dutch Bros lives up to its hype. The person helping us was nice and patient and helped me order my drink. My drink came out within two minutes and it was amazing,” she says.

Another Dutch Bros’ lover, Arthur (unknown last name) recommends Dutch Bros and loves everything about it.

“Very friendly workers, fast service, and it’s packed all the time, but I don’t mind waiting. It’s worth the wait,” he says.

The most popular drink is the “Golden Eagle” and most people get it iced.  The “Golden Eagle” is made with espresso, caramel and vanilla syrup, and milk. It is also topped with caramel drizzle and whipped cream.

If you ever want to try something new and sweet, I, personally recommend the Dutch Bros iced white coffee Christmas Morning with cine mag.

You can find their menu full of other delicious drinks on their website at dutchbros.com.

If you download their free app, “Dutch Bros,” you automatically get a free drink along with many opportunities to gain points, discounts, rewards, and deals with every purchase you make.

Hailey Smithson, ’21 has worked at Dutch Bros since the first stand on Mooney opened up. It opened December 31st, 2020 and she got hired around two weeks before then.

“My favorite part is definitely all the relationships I have built and also making drinks is tons of fun,” Smithson says.

Smithson has always wanted to work in a coffee shop and once she had the opportunity, she applied to Dutch Bros.

While there is always a long line at Dutch Bros, they give out free stickers. Based on the looks of the line, most would think it would take a while. However, the longest it usually takes is around 20 minutes.

There are over thousands of reviews for Dutch Bros all over the world and many recommend to work there, try their drinks, and to have fun.

Visalia is building another Dutch Bros which will have two drive-throughs. It will be located by the Lowe’s Shopping Center on the corner of Riggin and Demaree. It will open some time by the end of the year!

There are two Dutch Bros currently located in Visalia. One on Mooney and the other on Akers. The one on Mooney is open from 5 AM-10 PM Sunday-Thursday, and 5 AM-11 PM Friday and Saturday. The same hours occur for the one on Akers.
