Redwood students say what they have on their fall playlist as the season begins to approach.

As fall approaches, students like to get into the mood by making playlists for the season or listening to songs with a ‘fall vibe’.
“I listen to Steve Lacy, Faye Webster, Tyler the Creator, and Frank Ocean.” Jesse Rascon ’27
Although the weather definitely isn’t fall, some students like to listen to fall songs to make it feel like fall is coming sooner than it actually is.
When asked if there is a specific genre that reminds him of fall, Liam Marr ’28 said, ” Jazz because of the mood.”
Folk, Indie rock, and Jazz are all popular genres of music that have that fall vibe.
A couple of songs on Wesley Scholl ’28’s playlist for Fall are “What’s Happening Brother by Marvin Gaye, Something, Somehow, Someday by ROLE MODEL, and How Can You Mend a Broken Heart by Al Green.”
Multiple students have specific playlists for fall, and for multiple different seasons throughout the year, to remind them that the season is approaching and to get them excited about it.
An album Acacia Eppling ’27 would recommend for the fall is “Charm by Clairo [because] it’s really good.”
