by A$AP Rocky
This month was a big one for hip-hop fans with an album from A$AP Rocky, titled, “Don’t Be Dumb” released January 16th. After an 8 year hiatus we got Rocky’s 4th studio album, with some features from Tyler the Creator, Brent Faiyaz, Doechii, and Westside Gunn.
The anticipation for the album exploded when the album was officially announced December 19th, 2025, and even a bit earlier with his appearance at Tyler the Creators festival Camp Flog Gnaw. With 123,000 units sold in it’s first week and debuting number 1 on the billboard charts it is safe to say that fans were very hyped for the albums full release.
For the k-pop fans Enhypen released their 7th mini album “THE SIN: VANISH” on January 16th and hit number 2 on the billboard charts. The album follows the groups vampire theme and creates a dark and mysterious world through the music.

The group began album roll out on the 15th of December, 2025, and in it’s first week sold 2 million copies in South Korea and 122,000 in the U.S.
Some highlights off the album, are “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “No Way Back (feat. So!YoOn)”, and “Knife”.
Overall, while being considered a mini album it is definitely worth checking out for the mood and vibe that is created through the album.

by The Kid LAROI
The next album that you should keep on your radar this month is “BEFORE I FORGET” by The Kid LAROI.
Emiliano Hernandez, ’28, a student here on Redwood campus when asked about new music this month mentioned this album. “BEFORE I FORGET” is The Kid LAROI’s second studio album and was released January 9th, and charted 30.38 million streams the week the album debuted.
Hernandez, when asked about some highlights on the album said, “Private” and “Rather be” saying that those were his favorite songs off the album. The album is perfect for weekends when you’re out with friends and are letting loose.
Those are just three albums that were released this month but there is so much more out there. You never know, you might find your favorite song by accident. You’ll never know till you listen some new music!
