Running successfully for now two years in Redwood High School, the Ultimate Frisbee club commences another opportunity of fun and excitement. Directed by Ethan Rasmussen, ’20, as the club’s President, they invite you to look into their activities on the field and how they benefit students’ lives.
The fresh organization began as an idea- stemmed from a day-to-day activity originally brought up by Rasmussen. When he was a freshmen he was playing a lot of ultimate Frisbee and decided to start a club. Thus began Redwood’s Frisbee team.
The team meets every Saturday on the field of Visalia’s Soroptimist Park on West Buena Vista Avenue, in the afternoons. There they play, practice, and work hard.
“It’s a super safe place where you can play with your friends. It’s a great workout,” says Rasmussen. “You don’t even realize that you’re burning calories. It’s awesome.”
This year, you can expect great numbers of scores and student participants, and much fun. It is important to the Team that you feel accepted and enjoy your time while working hard with other team members to strengthen it.
