As Cowhide 2024 approaches, the topic of how to show one’s school spirit arises and one way is by making a tutu.

As the date for Cowhide and dress-up days approaches, one way Rangers can show their school spirit is by following this step-by-step tutorial on how to make a tutu.
Materials Needed for tutu:
- Scissors
- 1-2 rolls of Tulle
- (½-1 inch thick) Elastic or Ribbon
Step 1
First, take about a wingspan worth of elastic or ribbon. Make sure that some length is left over for tying at the end.
Step 2
Measure the tulle to the length you want your tutu to be. Double the length of the tulle so you can tie it on the elastic. Cut your pieces of tulle before you start to tie them on.
Step 3
Take your elastic and tulle and take the tulle fold in half and place behind the elastic. Take the loop where the tulle is folded and pull the button of the tulle through the loop, around the elastic, and pull to secure.
Step 4
Continue to repeat step 3 until there is enough tulle to go around your waist. Bunch the pieces together to give it a fuller look.
Step 5
When the fullness of the tutu is to your liking look for any pieces of tulle that are uneven and make them the same length.
Step 6
Take both ends of the elastic/ribbon and tie around waist. Your tutu is now complete!
