5. La La Land: This musical romance is an emotional roller coaster with an amazing soundtrack.
The romance between the main characters, Sebastian Wilder and Mia Dolan, is very back and forth and will have your emotions all over the place.
This movie does a really great job showcasing the struggle of balancing personal ambitions and the relationship between Sebastian and Mia.
The film is really powerful with emotions, making you feel connected to these characters and their complex relationship. The idea of having to sacrifice in order to pursue one’s passions is extremely present towards the end of the movie.
This, in turn, makes you feel that this relationship is never bound to end, but as the movie progresses, it increasingly becomes clear that their relationship is starting to fade.
La La Land is a movie that can really have you in your emotions in the best way possible.

4. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown: This movie is a quick watch at only 25 minutes, but it’s a movie where you can find yourself baking some fall treats, with a smile on your face.
First aired on CBS on October 27, 1966, made with individually hand-painted cells, the movie is based on the comic strip by Charles Schulz’s Peanuts creator.
In the movie, you have the iconic characters like Snoopy and Woodstock, Charlie Brown, Linus, and the rest of the Peanuts gang, at a Halloween party trick-or-treating, and waiting for the Great Pumpkin.
This movie is a perfect way to start off your fall, and for some, a memorable part of childhood.

3. Fantastic Mr. Fox: Fantastic Mr. Fox, released on November 13, 2009, is a movie that really stands out from the rest, not only for its stop motion work but also for the multiple messages it conveys.
The movie is an amazing show of stop motion and storytelling.
Behind the scenes of the movie, you learn about how the puppet character design, set design, and shooting of the movie are meticulously thought out, making sure of getting everything perfect.
Because of the stop motion style of the movie and the attention to detail, it took about 4 years to produce.
After watching this movie, one can take away themes of being able to balance one’s essence with task, the danger of having too much pride, and being accepting and embracing all no matter how different we may seem.
Overall, this is the perfect movie that can give you a good laugh but also leave you with a better outlook on the world.

2. Coraline: If there’s one movie that perfectly captures the eerie magic of fall, it’s Coraline.
This stop-motion masterpiece, directed by Henry Selick and based on Neil Gaiman’s novel, blends whimsy and unease in a way that feels made for chilly autumn nights.
The story follows Coraline Jones, who discovers a secret door in her new home leading to an alternate world. This other world seems to be perfect until she realises there may be something more sinister to this alternate world.
From the creaky old house to the button eyes, “Other Mother” gives it a handmade charm that pairs perfectly with the cozy yet spooky feeling of October.
1. Dan in Real Life: There’s something about Dan in Real Life that just feels like fall.

Directed by Peter Hedges and starring Steve Carell, this heartfelt dramedy follows Dan Burns, a widowed advice columnist who’s great at solving everyone else’s problems but not his own.
During a family weekend in Rhode Island, he meets a woman who unexpectedly changes his life, only to realize she’s already dating his brother.
Set against crisp New England scenery filled with fall leaves, cozy sweaters.
Dan in Real Life captures the warmth and melancholy of the fall season.
