Ms Ranger nominee Brooklyn Anderson ’26 shares her excitement for being nominated by the Associated Student Body (ASB).

“ASB provides and organizes all of the school events throughout the entire school year. They make sure that the school spirit is always present around campus,” says Brooklyn Anderson ’26 about what ASB does for Redwood.
Anderson is ASB’s and Redwood’s rally commissioner. She organizes all of the rallies, makes sure all the groups are coordinated, and decides the themes.
“I was super excited when I heard that I got top ten,” says Anderson. “It wasn’t something that I was expecting. I’m definitely a little stressed out, but it’s definitely been a really fun experience.”
Anderson says she looks forward to the rally because of the activities that will take place at the rally, where she is “usually behind the scenes, but now I can actually be a part of it, which is super fun.”
“Vote for me,” says Anderson. “I’m just having fun, and I’m not taking it too seriously. It’s just fun to vote for someone who’s having fun and not using it [for] popularity.”
ASB advisor, Mr. Siqueiros, says it is well deserved that Anderson made the top 10. “She does a lot for our ASB class, and she’s loved by all of our students. I feel like we have the right nominee from our ASB class, making the top 10.”
“She’s a role model by planning, organizing, and having students join her to help make our rallies happen when it comes to decorations, slides, games, structure, and transition,” says Siqueiros. “She’s a big part behind the scenes, and the students see it, and they experience it from the rallies that we put on here.”
“Good luck, Brooklyn, we’re all rooting for you tomorrow!” says Siqueiros.
