Wrestling season is coming up, and the boys are excited. In the past, Redwood has had some pretty incredible teams that have worked hard throughout their season. This year the Rangers are looking forward to working hard as a team and competing.
Kai Preisendorf ‘24, is a part of the Redwood boys wrestling team. Even though Preisendorf is only a sophomore, he is shooting to be one of the best this year.
“Wrestling isn’t like any other sport, we all have that special bond already.”

Even though Redwood is the school to beat, the Rangers do have some competition this year. Preisendorf says, “School wise, I would say any Clovis school will be tough.”
Damian Viveros, ‘25, is the Rangers newest member to the team this year.
Viveros says, “I feel like we can train hard, and we can be pretty good.” He believes that the team has a good relationship with each other. Viveros says his main goal for the upcoming season is to, “not lose a lot of matches.”
Besides the fact that Redwood is a very competitive school he believes Dinuba will be a tough opponent this year.
The Redwood wrestling team is prepared for this year, and hopes for the best season possible.
