Now, all of us football fans have our different favorite teams, but there is one thing we all have in common, you either hate the Chiefs or you love them.
The reason may be that every time the Chiefs play in a game, there are often questionable calls that favor the Chiefs. These Rangers shared their opinions on that subject.
Adam Shaewitz, ’27, shared his opinion.
“I feel like they do [favor the Chiefs], mainly because of the calls they get, and because last game there was two roughing the passer calls which were stupid flags. That’s really what won them the game.”
Kendric Marmolejo, ’28 gave his thoughts.
“Yeah, because it’s all marketing about Taylor Swift, and Travis Kelce is washed.”
Daniel Lemus Rodriguez, ’28, shared his opinion.
“I think they let the Chiefs win because they won the Super Bowl, and I have read articles online that said the refs let the Chiefs win and that they pay them. I saw a photo that one of the refs was taking a picture with Patrick Mahomes.”
The Chiefs play in the AFC championship against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday, a very big game, that can end in big controversy. Stay tuned to that game to see if the NFL referees are finally exposed once and for all!
