As Spring Fling approaches, the people involved help prepare Rangers and other schools for what to expect.

Spring fling this year is taking place on Saturday, March 8th from 7PM to 10PM at Roller Towne on 520 S Linwood St. in Visalia for the second year in a row.
Usually, Spring Fling tickets don’t sell as much compared to other dances. Now tickets have been picking up on their sales.
Redwood, El Diamante, Golden West, Mt. Whitney, VTEC, and Sequoia are the high schools expected to be there.
A Roller Towne Employee says, “This is our second year [holding the event], and we enjoy it.”
One thing Roller Towne’s Employee says to keep in mind is how the Spring Fling dance isn’t only a dance, but also a night to hang out with friends, have fun, and skate.

Finance Secretary Ms. Mayra Melendez, says, “[An important thing for students to take with them] is their permission slips because if they don’t have them, they won’t be able to get in.”
Permission slips are necessary because the dance is held off campus. Permission slips must be turned into the Finance Center when you purchase your ticket.
Permission slips can be picked up at the Finance Center.
If you buy tickets at the door without a permission slip, you will be turned away. Students are expected to have their permission slips with them in order to purchase a ticket.
Tickets will be $15 if you buy them in advance, and if you have an ASB sticker they will be $10.
If you buy tickets at the door they will be $20.
“It’s more of a laid-back dance. It’s mainly just to hang out with different high schools,” said Ms. Melendez.
