Redwood High School Athletics now requires tickets to be purchased through GoFan.online through the website, app, or in person using a card reader. The app, however, is not on android.

The California Interscholastic Federation [CIF] has mandated that GoFan is used to purchase tickets to games.

Redwood is not the only school using the app. Schools state-wide are required to use GoFan.

“Clovis, Bakersfield, and the two Porterville schools are GoFan only.”

Visalia Unified School District [VUSD] has “not been promoting” the app.

Michael Wright, Athletic Director says, “The GoFan app is safe, there is no opportunity for theft, and is simply the best way to go.”

For students who are in the situation of not having a card, “[Redwood] has accommodated them and taken care of every student. Not one student thus far has been turned away, nor will they ever be turned away,” says Wright.
