The Redwood Gigantea can confirm that Redwood’s head football coach Kevin Scharton resigned from his position this week. Coach Scharton has been with the program for six years and five seasons.
Scharton compiled an overall record of 32 wins and 23 losses as head coach, with a 20-5 record in WYL and EYL play, and winning the 2022 EYL Championship.
Scharton went 1-5 in the playoffs, with the win being in his debut season in 2019.
Scharton won 3 Cowhides and lost 2 in his five seasons as head coach.
