The Rangers are coming into this game 12-8, second overall in the East Yosemite League, coming off a dominant 70-25 win against Mt. Whitney.

The Rangers offense is led by senior guard Jazmaine Stewart and sophomore Jayda Barnes.

Stewart is averaging 12.8 points per game and has an average free-throw percentage of 68%.

The defense is led by various Rangers as Jazmaine Stewart enters the fray once again, as she averages 3.9 steals per game.

Jayda Barnes, ’28, once again enters the conversation as she has 71 total steals on the season.

Barnes has three point percentage of 27%, she leads the team in total points with 226, and averages three assists per game, leading the team.

Blocks are led by Ahriel Madden ‘26, who has twelve total blocks on the season.

El Diamante isn’t too different, as they have a 12-9 overall record; the only difference is that they are fourth overall in the EYL.

The offense barely has any bright spots, with one of the only ones being Angelina Morales, who averages an impressive 17.4 points per game.

She has 330 total points on the season and has 11 total rebounds, both of which lead the team.

The Green School’s defense has struggled, though Morales is once again one of the only positives as she leads the defense with five total steals on the season.

The Rangers will travel to El D on Friday to try to continue their aspirations of being at the top of the EYL.

Varsity will start at 7:45 pm. Show up and show your Ranger pride!
