Jimmie Burk, ’26, is his usual excellent self, rushing for 215 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, while also catching one score.
He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he’s now punched in two or more in each of the last six games he’s played.
Ollie Richardson, ’27, was another key player, picking up 47 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Wins are hard to come by when you can’t run the rock, something Redwood proved: they limited San Luis Obispo to a paltry 2.4 yards per carry.
The team can thank Michael White, ’26, for the heroic effort on defense.
Redwood hasn’t allowed more than 8.8 yards per carry in three consecutive contests.

Redwood didn’t go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over.
Abram Feldstein, ’27, led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.
Brody Preisendorf, ’26, got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Bakersfield found their leader in sophomore Damir Lomax, who rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry.
Those 204 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Lomax.
Another player making a difference was BJ Veasley, who rushed for 67 yards and one TD.
