The Redwood Varsity Football team goes into week 3 of the season with a two game losing streak. Facing one of the most difficult teams in the county, Redwood continues to fight for a win. Cristian Carlos, ‘25, says, “People have doubted us but I feel like we’ll come out on top.”
Heading into the game against Tulare Union, Carlos says, “The linemen are our strengths this year. Our defense will definitely be good.”
Adam Judson, ’25, says, “Effort that everybody puts in, we just need to all be a team. We need to be constantly lifting each other up instead of putting each other down.”
The Rangers have been stepping up their game in practice for preparation for tonight’s game. Brody Preisendorf, ‘26, says “Practice has been preparing us very well. We saw a lot of mistakes we made on film as well as watched films of opposing teams.”
The Rangers stay looking for a win tonight against Tulare Union with the game time changed to 8PM due to the summer heat.
Carlos says “We’re more mentally tougher.”
