Alejandro Marroquin has been appointed to Principal of Divisadero Middle School.
Marroquin has been a VUSD employee for the past six years. Previous to his time at Redwood he served as an assistant principal at Valley Oak Middle School.
Outside of VUSD Marroquin acted as the lead resource teacher at La Sierra Military Academy for three years, taught history and government at Citrus High School for two years, spent three years teaching at Lovell High School, and another at Yettem Continuation High School.
Marroquin’s credentials include a Bachelor of Arts for California State University, Fresno. He also holds a single subject Teaching Credential and an Administrative Services Credintial.
