On Monday, March 27th, Redwood High School will host their annual Open House from 6:00-8:00 pm. This event is open to Ranger students and incoming eighth-grade families.

Freshman English teacher Mrs. Melissa Adalian will be in the library hosting a free book giveaway during the event.

Books that were donated by Tulare County Office of Education [TCOE] and the American Association of University Women will be present in hopes to promote literacy.

When regarding the process, Adalian says she is “…very excited about it. It’s the first year we’ve ever done it, so it’s a new program we’ve developed through a grant through the state of California.”

Adalian says, “We’re hoping if it goes well and we get good feedback that we can continue doing this every open house.”

To enter, there will be a drawing at 6:45 in the library.

If you are interested in viewing classrooms, acquainting with teachers, and experiencing the Redwood spirit, visit the RHS campus Monday evening on March 27th!
