VUSD is seeking student and community input to shape the criteria for selecting Redwood High School’s next principal.

After Dr. Amanda Richard resigned as Principal of Redwood High School at the start of the 2023-2024 school year, Dr. Brandon Gridiron was appointed interim principal. Now, the search for a new one begins.
Redwood has had three principals in the last three years. Dr. Richard was appointed after former principal Matt Shin was promoted at the district office in 2023.
Visalia Unified School District [VUSD] held three listening sessions on Monday, January 29, 2024, to hear the community’s thoughts.
If you missed the meetings, you can still provide feedback by filling out this four-question form. The form will close on Friday, February 2.
Students are encouraged to share their thoughts about what they want to see in Redwood’s next principal.
